WHO YOU’LL BE:

• You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP Sous Chef level.
• You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

• Our kitchen is focused on seasonality and sourcing. As much as humanly possible is produced on-site.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working with a small team of chefs & kitchen assistant providing breakfast, lunch and weekend dinners in this new soon to open Coffee House & Bistro based in the beautiful estate of Auchincruive Estate, Ayr. This is for a genuine lover of all things food and providing first class customer service.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

• To support the Head Chef to create and produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards and general management of the kitchen.
• Ensuring standards are maintained within the kitchen and food service in the Head Chefs absence.
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The ClockTower at Auchincruive is looking for a Commis/kitchen assistant to assist the chefs within our busy kitchen operation. You will be working closely alongside the rest of the kitchen team during the day as well as regular kitchen porter duties and assisting in the general cleanliness of Back of House Areas.
• Auchincruive Estate is a family run business operating a coffee House & Bistro in the centre of the beautiful parklands of the estate. We offer fresh, locally sourced cooking.
